Yates Mill Associates now has a Special Collection at NCSU!

Yates Mill 1975 to 1980 and close ups of waterwheel before restoration that can be found in the YMA Special Collection at NCSU. — Images of Yates Mill before restoration began as found in the Yates Mill Associates Special Collection at NCSU.

Many years before the land around Yates Mill was developed into Historical Yates Mill County Park, history buffs joined together to form Yates Mill Associates, with the sole goal of restoring and preserving Yates Mill for generations to come. Early records kept by YMA can now be found in the NC State University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center.
